Ian and I use the same modeling software and don't fuss with the output too much, so our styles look pretty similar.Robert Pearcehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18082305855923112645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5459293513569472778.post-59441208029867824112016-09-09T00:06:24.333-07:002016-09-09T00:06:24.333-07:00Keep at this please! This stuff is up there with Ian Stead's and your old pics that you have cleaned up have the Keith brothers feel which being the old Traveller I am I totally dig,Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17596269026992342973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5459293513569472778.post-26029804841172719682016-07-19T00:26:44.747-07:002016-07-19T00:26:44.747-07:00I considered the hard sci-fi approach you are sugg...I considered the hard sci-fi approach you are suggesting, but I really like the more Star Wars style of having a pass-through force field and retractable, solid outer door. Plus you get to have this sort of fun:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGMAV752cO0

Also, these images are based on an "edge" geomorph - one that resides on the outer edge of a ship. For my interior geomorphs I assume an elevator drops (or raises) the fighter to an airlock or launch tube.Robert Pearcehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18082305855923112645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5459293513569472778.post-3000403794023348812016-06-22T07:46:25.930-07:002016-06-22T07:46:25.930-07:00This is pretty cool! Those would be more shirt-sleeve-style environments, thus they'd be in separate areas.

Now, if you changed it so that the hangar area was reached via an elevator, then you could get away with that sort of idea. Of course, if you only have room for 2 small craft, then you may have to make accomodations. Because we are talking space and vacuums, it just makes more sense to keep these areas separate. Plus who wants the potential for their favorite chair to get pulled out the hangar door? :) Roomie with a Viewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03909944188058306102noreply@blogger.com
