  3. Won't lie; I am anxiously awaiting Starship Geomorphs 3.0

    1. Honestly, I am too. Since the new book is focusing on adventure class ships, and each layout combination looks and feels like a traditional starship deck plan, even the act of creating the new geomorphs was fun. I'm thinking the new book will be even better received than the last book. I want the new book to have the same vibe as the last, so there are still a ton of illustrations to do, but things are progressing well.

    2. Wow, I did not know that a version 3.0 was in the works! If I may venture a couple of suggestions, I would it if the deckplans were available in image form for VTT. Maybe even a version without the text, for table use? Anyway, I'll be happy to use whatever you do. Thank you so much for your work!

    3. Just to reinforce. If you want any assistance or encouragement, please let me know. I have found your geomorphs to be absolutely indispensable for building unique and quality space stations, starships and small craft. I'd love to see your take on Capital Turrets (The ones that hold weapons bays from the Deepnight Revelations Far Side of Nowhere book)

    4. Jon - Unfortunately I do not have any of the Deepnight Revelations books, so I have no information on the capital turrets. The Starship Geomorphs 2.0 book already has multiple bay weapon geomorphs, but based on your comment I'm guessing that is not what you are looking for.

Quick update - I was hoping to have the new PDF available this week, but have fallen a bit behind. With my travels over the holidays it will be unlikely that I will be able to release it before January. I'm still writing the text for the introductory section - which I am painfully slow at - and need to make one more quality control pass through the entire book. At least the QC will go fairly quickly.

There was a great response to the VTT images made available by several members of the Traveller community. VTT assets will become available some time in the future, even if I have to do them myself. With a major theme of the new book focusing on interesting deck plan shapes, the new VTT assets will be much more time consuming to create since they are no longer mostly squares and rectangles. I just need to get the book done first.
